Marrying users' needs to business goals is challenging. A puzzle to be solved. Designing helpful, engaging digital products that make a difference in a people's lives keeps me motivated though. Listening to users and seeing their perspective, even just a little, let's me better understand how a product fits (or doesn't) into their lives.
When I'm not doing that, I like to spend time with my wife and son. I'm also a big dog lover and volunteer most weekends at a local no-kill shelter when I'm not chasing my own pup around the park.
